PET polyester film:

PET polyester film is based on PET (polyester resin) and is also known as Mylar, heat-transfer film, release film, isolation film, slip-resistant paper, silicone paper, anti-stick film, silicone release paper, masking film, etc. It is a well-rounded film: smooth surface, good gloss, colorless and transparent, excellent mechanical properties. Its toughness is the best of all thermoplastics; tensile and impact strength far exceed ordinary films, with good stiffness and dimensional stability.

PET film also has excellent high-temperature resistance (up to 200C), cold resistance, chemical and oil resistance; high rigidity, hardness and toughness. It is puncture- and abrasion-resistant, treated for anti-static and anti-scratch, with good adhesion; high tensile strength and not easy to break; good electrical insulation, corrosion and thermal stability, low shrinkage, easy to peel, reusable, odorless and tasteless, and recyclable.
